作为负责人承担包括国家杰出青年科学基金和重大国际合作等国家自然科学基金9项、国家863项目4项、国家973课题1项、中国与意大利政府重大国际合作研究计划项目1项、英国教育部支持的中英创新基金ICUK项目1项、国家921载人航天工程子项目、探月工程子项目等20项。累计发表学术论文150篇,SCI/EI收录100余篇次。出版个人学术专著1部(“十一五”国家重点图书),合作出版中文和国外英文著作各2部。以第一发明人累计获得授权国家专利30项(发明专利16项),其中2项发明专利“太空舱舱门开关操作装置”、“可靠性关节控制驱动组件及其控制方法”在重大型号工程中获得实际应用。另外,获批软件著作权5项。获得茅以升北京青年科技奖、ASME/IEEE ReMAR’2009最佳论文奖(第一作者)、IEEE ICMA’2012最佳论文奖(第一作者)、教育部自然科学二等奖(排名第一)等国际/国内省部级以上科研学术奖励7项。
